Being blind is a prerequisite in being able to see. When you know you do not see then it gives you the hunger to seek to see. Those that think they see do not have such hunger and remain blind. This is why Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of God and blessed are those that hunger for they shall be filled.
